1. Do children need prior experience with circuits?
No prior experience is necessary! The program is designed for beginners, and we will guide your child through each step, ensuring they learn at their own pace.
2. How will my child learn to build circuits?
Your child will first learn to build simple circuits using Snap Circuit Boards. Then, they will create interactive paper circuits and explore the virtual world of circuits using TinkerCAD to simulate and test designs before building them in real life.
3. How long is each session?
Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The program consists of 16 sessions in total, allowing plenty of time for exploration, hands-on activities, and creative projects.
4. What will my child create?
By the end of the program, your child will have built several working circuits, including light-up designs with paper circuits, and will have created projects such as LED cards, buzzers, and motorized systems. They'll also develop a digital portfolio using TinkerCAD to simulate and visualize their creations.
5. Is the program suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! The program is designed for beginners, so no previous knowledge of circuits or electronics is needed. We provide step-by-step instructions and support to ensure every child succeeds.
6. Will children take their projects home?
Yes! Children will be able to take home many of their projects, such as their paper circuit designs.
