Junior FIRST® LEGO® League
Focused on building an interest in science and engineering in children ages 6-9, Junior FIRST® LEGO® League (Jr.FLL®) is a hands-on program designed to capture young children's curiosity and direct it toward discovering how science and technology impact the world around them. This program features a real-world challenge, to be explored through research, critical thinking and imagination.
FIRST® LEGO® League
FLL is an international inquiry-based program for children ages 9-16 that grows their interest in science and technology through an exciting, team-based, competitive event that includes a research assignment, a robot game, and life skills projects. FLL participants get to:
· Design, build, test, and program robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology.
· Apply real-world math and science concepts.
· Research challenges facing today’s scientists.
· Learn critical-thinking, team-building, and presentation skills.
· Participate in tournaments and celebrations.
More than 233,000 children ages 9 to 16* from over 80 countries participating every year, make it one of the biggest Robotics competitions in the world.
Indian Robot Olympiad
Indian Robot Olympiad (IRO) is one of the largest Robotics competition in India for students between the age group of 9 to 21 held since 2006. IRO is the Indian Chapter of World Robot Olympiad that provides a unique platform for students to showcase their talent and creativity and represent INDIA at the international level.
World Robot Olympiad
The World Robot Olympiad is an event for science, technology and education which brings together the young people all over the world to develop their creativity and problem solving skills through challenging and educational robotics competitions. First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts 1000 participants from 37 countries.
